Master Luthier Jeff Brown, originally from Columbia, MD, attended the Galloup School of Lutherie in Big Rapids, MI, in 2004, where he built his first four guitars. He has since built a range of instruments, including electric, acoustic, archtop, and classical styles. He is currently offering electric guitars based on an original design that merges traditional concepts with innovative features and refined details.

All J Brown guitars are individually designed and built to the player’s preferences, and pull from a variety of tone woods, neck profiles, pickups, and decorative features. Inlay options are limited only by your imagination and can incorporate a variety of materials, including abalone, mother of pearl, wood, and stone. Choose from the existing artbook, or work with Jeff to create custom inlays that bring your vision to life.
